Description
The Emmi Cord Outdoor bench for open-air environments takes its cue from the design of the Emmi armchair for indoor use. An elegant, minimalist seat with a rectangular shape, which stands on two natural teak legs with rounded edges. The soft padding of the cushioning is supported by a stainless steel frame covered with woven rope in the colours Sand or Dark Brown, giving the bench a natural touch. Ideal for convivial moments in the open-air, Emmi Cord Outdoor is the result of a versatile design that easily matches all the furnishing pieces in the outdoor collection, combining functionality and comfort with the brand’s characteristic aesthetic.
Structure: Weight-bearing structural frame in stainless steel, 10 mm thick, and in tubular stainless steel, Ø 16 mm, with exterior-grade polyester powder-coat finish with polished Bronze colour. The tubular stainless-steel structure is covered in woven Taslan (air-jet weaving and texturizing process) Ø 8 mm polypropylene cord. The cord is available in Sand or Dark Brown colour.
Cushions: Seat cushions in high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam and viscose fibre. In order to better protect the padding from water and humidity, the cushion is encased in a water-repellent polyester cover. All the accessories - zippers, thread - are water-repellent and therefore suitable for outdoor use. The cushion is attached to the structure with teak frogs.
Covers: The cushion cover is completely removable.
Legs: In solid teak, (Tectona Grandis - First European Quality), natural finish, with internal structural reinforcement in aluminium. Aluminium feet varnished glossy Bronze with anti-touch finish. Protective glides in black ribbed rubber.

Hannes Peer
Minotti’s collaboration with Hannes Peer, internationally recognised architect and designer from South Tyrol, makes its debut in 2024. Inspired by an approach that weave together past and present, traditional and modern elements, Hannes Peer shares the brand’s desire to shape designs that harmoniously merge aesthetics and functionality, reflecting a timeless quality that transcends the fleeting nature of trends. Constantly driven by his passion for experimenting with materials, textures and colours, Hannes Peer strives to balance architecture, interior design and product design in every project, allowing each element to find its own raison d’être.
His is an eclectic and multifaceted design language that overlaps different styles working on all scales and, when joining Minotti’s vision, it finds its perfect expression in the Yves modular seating system: a project with a dual soul that reveals itself in a combination of rigorous volumes and organic shapes, rich in unexpected and dynamic couture details.
