Description
A family of coffee tables with fluid and unusual shapes, designed by Studio MK27, following the geometries of the Bézier parametric curve. The central stainless steel frame supports the stone top with rounded edges. The organic volumes and curvilinear silhouette make these outdoor coffee tables highly versatile, easy to overlap eachother and combinable with furnishings of different styles.
Top finishes։ Available in 30 mm thick contoured Travertine, filled and smoothed, or 30 mm thick contoured and smoothed Pierre Bleue. Both tops feature a 15 mm thick matt black HPL underpanel and are treated for stain resistance, although this does not guarantee total protection.
Base finishes: Available in stainless steel with either a polished Bronze or textured Bronze finish. It features a stainless-steel support structure clad in 2 mm thick sheet metal, with an internal stainless-steel counterweight for added stability and adjustable black SEBS feet.
Designer
Marcio Kogan / Studio MK27
The partnership between Minotti and Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan began in 2017. Marcio Kogan approached the world of architecture and opened the Studio MK27 in São Paolo at the end of the seventies: volcanic and rigorous, attentive to the pure volumes and simple shapes of his designs, as well as the details and finishes, he favours open, squared architectures - which aesthetically and stylistically merge in and out - characterised by floor-to-ceiling windows that erase the boundary with the outdoors.
With a design style inspired by nature, the warm woods of his homeland, and the clean lines of his architectural works, in 2018, he created the Quadrado outdoor seating system for Minotti, approaching the world of design with brilliance for the first time.
