Description
The Patio seating system expands, welcoming this daybed complete with reclining backrest, made particularly practical by the presence of two aluminium castors. This new outdoor furnishing piece perfectly fits into the compositional language of the system it originates from, which, like a mosaic, can compose infinite living situations in the outdoor spaces. Available in one large size, it is also available with a wood tray attached to the frame proposed in aluminium with an Ecru or Dark Brown matt varnished finish. The possibility of making outdoor spaces increasingly more liveable and comfortable for ideal moments of relaxation is thus evolving.
Structure: Backrests made of stainless steel, upholstered with woven polypropylene fibre that forms a 25x5mm ribbon, available in Ecru and Dark Brown colour. The backrests are joined to the structure with cast aluminium plates varnished polished Bronze colour with anti-fingerprint finish.
Cushions: Seat/backrest cushion in high-resilience, variable-density polyurethane foam and waterrepellent, eco-friendly viscose fibre. To better protect the seat/backrest cushion padding from water and humidity, the cushion is upholstered in water-repellent polyester fabric. All the accessories used in production - zippers and thread - are waterrepellent and therefore suitable for outdoor use.
Covers: The seat/backrest cushion upholstery is completely removable.
Feet/Wheels: Rests on castaluminium feet and aluminium wheels, varnished polished Bronze colour with anti-fingerprint finish. Adjustable black protective polyethylene glides and protective black rubber ring assembled to the wheels.
Base: The structure is made of extruded aluminium in matt Ecru or Dark Brown with an outdoor-resistant finish. The stainless-steel frame is polished Bronze with an anti-fingerprint treatment and upholstered in Batyline fabric, while the backrest reclines to multiple heights with a snap-in mechanism and Dove Grey Melange polypropylene cord. An optional grooved tabletop is available in Dark Brown-stained mahogany or natural teak for water drainage.

GamFratesi
Minotti and GamFratesi began collaborating in 2018. The design of GamFratesi, architecture firm established in 2006 in Copenhagen by Italian-Danish duo Enrico Fratesi and Stine Gam, is rooted in the perfect fusion of tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and technology, rigour and poetry. With their different cultural backgrounds, Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi model their creative intuitions into designs that draw from both the classic decor and artisan tradition of Denmark and the classic Italian intellectual and conceptual approach.
A tried and tested melting pot of styles, expressed in furniture, objects, and installations with a silent elegance, in the production techniques used and in the meticulous attention to detail applied to the creations. The result is a sophisticated interpretation of Scandinavian minimalism, with many subtle, yet striking Nordic hints.
